Simple and basic.
It's simple and basic but it gets the job done. One piece plastic base that can mounted to a workbench or a solid piece of wood. Easier than holding the sharpener in hand the whole time.

Get the other one
Made of lightweight, light-duty plastic, I'm afraid to mount it lest I crack the plastic torquing the screws a little much. Spend the extra couple $ and get the metal one from Lansky.

Extra hand!!
If you’ve ever tried to “free hand” a Lansky sharpener, it can be a task. This mount lets ya work with both hands when needed!
Easy to set up and easy to use. You
Cannot ask for more than that unless someone wants to sharpen your knives for you!!🤣😂Read full review...

Lansky
I am pleased with the basic fit to the clamp I would prefer to see these stands with a larger diameter post to take some of the loose play out of the clamp to post fit this plastic one does seem tighter than the more expensive steel models.Read full review...

Works great
Well made. More solid than I thought it would be. This has to be mounted to a board(Has 3holes for this purpose) as it is not heavy enough to counterbalance the weight of a knife. I mounted mine on a 2x6x6 piece of pine and it works great. Makes a huge difference in ease of using the sharpening system. Good priceRead full review...

Essential knife holder stand.
Real decent piece of plastic. Really don't need much more. Does its job well. I screwed mine down to a piece of wood so I can watch TV and make it portable. The pedestal tip should be a half inch taller but it's okay. Expensive one is no better. You need to hold the Lansky unit with one hand while your other hand is running the sharpening stones anyway so it's no big deal.Read full review...

Not required but worth every penny!
If you have a LANSKY sharpening system, this is not required but makes it much more convenient to use it.

I am very anxious to start using
It makes the sharpener more stable when sharpening a knife.

Good Better Best
I’ve got a little wear on mine already. Metal one might have been a better choice. On the other hand, I might prefer the wear on my pedestal then on my clamp.

Lansky vs Chinese version
It didn't fit the Chinese version of the Lansky that I should not have ordered.
