Hifonics BRX 3016 save your money and just buy a good amp in store
I bought the Hifonics BRX 3016 2 Channel 1 ohm constant amp Installed it per Crutchfield, and car toys recommendations Kenwood deck JL dub 7 speakers wired to 2 ohm the first stamp I received from audiosavings went into Power protect mode in 20 days they said it must have been a loose wire inside this never happens they sent me a replacement it went out in just about 40 days and then they don't want to be responsible they try to pass you on to the manufacture. I bought one of their most expensive models and the amp obviously isn't capable of what it claims therefore I highly doubt any of the others are would not count on any of these amps to properly power subwoofers and or keep an average expected life spanRead full review...

Save your money
I bought one of these amps when they first came out. The original amp lasted about 3 months, then went into protect. The first amp they sent under warranty went started to smoke and went into protect after a week. The second amp under warranty went into protect after 5 minutes, no joke! I was just hooking up my RCA's and setting my gains! The third and final amp they would sent under warranty started to smoke and went into protect after 2 weeks. I opened it up and the output MOSFETs were blown. I sent it to an amplifier repair guy in California, he said he is the authorized repair person, they (Hifonics) send all amps to be fixed to him. He replaced the MOSFETs and I put the amp back into my car. Lasted about a month before it smoked again. I've got upgraded electrical. 200 amp police alternator (car was a 2011 Crown Victoria LX). I also had the bracket for Town Car limos that allow you to run a second alternator using the same belt. I had my factory 140 amp alternator installed there, for a total of 340 amps of current. I had a XS power battery under the hood, big three (alternators to battery, batteries to frame, engine block to ground) upgraded with double 0 gauge (2/0) pure copper stranded welding wire. Same 2/0 wire ran to trunk. Extra XS Power battery in the trunk. Everything fused correctly, good grounds. Soldered and crimped lugs.Read full review...

Awesome amp
This amp is awesome, I've had JL amps, kenwood, alpine some local store amps and by far this amp exceeds those amps by far. Very please by everything about this amp.. totally incredible. Thank you EBay for allowing me to to install this amp to my 15" sundown audio subwoofer, this SA sub is punching your gut out, so please.

You guys with the negative comments can’t be serious. I’ve been rocking Hifonics since ‘05 and never been disappointed. The power to price ratio can’t be beat. I have 2 2ohm Orion HCCA 15’s and got one of these amps running on each sub at 1ohm. My doors flex like crazy and I’m pushing 147db on the meter. $600.00 bucks worth of amps and doing numbers. I have two Skar Evls and Ive had several setups over the years this one is by far the best. The subs hit and the amp works great it never gets hot it does it's job I actually want another one.
