Use to Replace a wireless microphone on talent in filmmaking

It's an excellent product. I've used one of these for about ten years and the buttons are so worn down they're getting hard to operate. I've used it for thousands of hours! No battery issues, no crash in the software, and I've never found anything else that has all these the features this little thing has! Only one problem, it's so tiny I'm afraid I'll lose it someday, or it will get into the laundry, and it's also a little small for my hands. The old one that I've bought this to replace still works perfectly but for the wear.

The one I bought to replace here came looking unused at all, but the pocket clip is funky somehow, though it works anyway. Something wrong with the hinge, but it still works well enough. I'd have bought a brand-new one if I could still get them from Sony, but this will do.

I actually bought a second one so I can record 44.1 CD-quality sound by placing one of these in a pocket of actors, rather than use a wireless microphone in low-budget filmmaking!Read full review...
