Bad solenoids
My previous experience with Caltric products has always been positive.
But these solenoids are junk. I bought 2 for the same machine ( 1 for a spare). Installed 1 and after hitting the starter button the solenoid hung up “on”. Had to disconnect the cable while the starter is turning. Installed the second one - same thing. Threw these in the trash can. I won’t buy any more solenoids. Defective and dangerous
Purchased 3 and 2 were stuck in the engaged position and starter motor engaged by itself. Third one tested good, but stuck in engage position once the key was turned and starter motor ran continually. I had to cut wire to prevent damage.Read full review...
