Too tight a space

Excellent all round wheel clamp. Beware of the size of your tyre to the inner wheel arch. The Jeep tyres are 215mmx 17" and that is the maximum fit for the clamp and it fits very tightly but only 1 piece at a time.

Trying to fit the round plate over the wheel nuts means that the open legged V shaped part needs to be move out a little as the circle with its lug requires to be placed behind the V shape and there is just not enough space. It is far too tight.

I then tried sliding the silver bar into the V shaped legs without the plate and the bar is too long that it hits the outer wheelarch and will not insert into the 2 locking lugs.

So the only thing that remained was to swap this complete wheel clamp onto the trailer with smaller wheels and it fitted first time. The trailers SAS wheel clamp was simply opened to maximum and fitted onto the Jeep first time.

Would I buy this wheel clamp again? NO!!! for a few pounds more I would buy the SAS wheel clamp but that will not detract from what this clamp does.Read full review...
