I draft all day on a computer so to avoid carpel tubal I need flexibility in my equipment. The way this ball is designed to manipulate the ball I can use my fore finger or the middle of my hand or my thumb. I've been looking for something like this for a while, it's easier on the hand than the usual style of mouse that you have to move around on the desk. Takes a little getting used to, but overall a lot better design. You use the fine muscles in your fingers rather than the larger muscles in your wrist and arm, makes a lot more sense.
