A ROMP THROUGH OLD SPAIN
Silly script and a second rate cast. Diana Dors is onscreen for less than a minute. A pity, her saucy approach would have done wonders for this overblown, dreary and unfunny spy comedy. However, if you're an armchair traveler who likes reminiscing about a glamorous past that no longer exists, this is the best travelogue ever made about Spain. The locales are truly breathtaking. Since the DVD is presented in the SmileBox format (simulating a Cinerama screen), the bigger your flat screen, the better to enjoy the sights. The film's restoration is exemplary. The print probably didn't look this good upon its initial release. The DVD Extras take you back to the film's locales as they look today. A fun idea, better than the main feature's script. The Five-Star rating is strictly for the visuals.Read full review...
