Awesome external laptop monitor
Great second laptop monitor. I bought this as a refurbished unit from Acer's eBay store. I've made several purchases from them and have been pleased with everything I've purchased. When I saw this monitor I thought it may be useful to have available. My wife was the first to use it yesterday when she was working away from her home office where she normally has 2 external monitors. Having at least 1 external monitor is a huge productivity gain, so she used this in a co-working space she used for the day while travelling. It worked great and provided excellent visibility.
A couple of comments for those considering this monitor: (1) get a USB C wall charger and USB C cable (nothing crazy, but NOT just a phone charger type of wall charger) to power the monitor. If you don't have an external power source, the screen's brightness is lowered to save power being pulled from your laptop. (2) consider getting a longer HDMI cable depending on where you like to have your second monitor and where your laptop's HDMI port is located. (3) I purchased a mini-HDMI-to-HDMI adapter here on eBay so I can use an ultra-slim HDMI cable. The HDMI mini-HDMI-to-HDMI cable that is included is a bit thick, but not too bad, but I like the way an ultra-slim cable is easier to transport. (4) The case that is included ONLY accommodates the screen, so you may want to get a small case to keep all of your cords organized when transporting. Read full review...

Great value for the money
I just bought this monitor and began playing with it this week. My intention is to take it traveling for a second screen. This is a very good display for the money. The sound quality is not great, but the image is the stated resolution and almost equal in brightness to my laptop display. It contained two Cables to connect the laptop and I used the USB-C one for my laptop. It connected easily. The base is convenient and swings down to adjust the preferred angle for viewing. The connections are in the base. The power cord has its own power supply about halfway down the cord. Overall, I am impressed. Read full review...
