Virtually Useless

Candidly, I bought price. Yes, compared to other vynl repair products it is cheap. And, I discovered, again, the truth of the old adage: The price may only be a dime; but, if it doesn't work ... it cost 10 cents too much!.

This is a peel off the backing and put adhesive side to the problem scheme. The package includes several large patches. In my case I was trying to patch a pinprick hoile in pool inflatable float. I cut off a 2" x 2" square; thinking this would be sufficient. I followed instructions for application. Yet, after inflation, the patch couln't hold up to the miniscule air pressure of this near microscopic hole and slowly "tunneled" air to the side of the patch .. voila - LEAK.

I then tried using the full patch (4" x 6") and it too failed. I again cleaned the area with solvent. This time I lightly abrased the area thinking a better "grip" might be attained. Another full sized patch also failed. Bottom line, the adhesive is tacky but never bonded with the vvinyl - indeed, even before inflating, the patches were curling up and
releasing any grip.
