Small S Mount bracket, goes on any standard light stand with no issues, clamps down tightly, just used it for a wedding to hold my slave flash, have not used it with any Bowens mount modifiers.

Poor Construction

I purchased this item to use it with my Flashpoint 360 and my 38" Glow Parabolic octogon light box.

My light box snapped off 3 different times in a single photoshoot. When setting up your equipment, you can hear your softbox snapping on to the Bowens mount, and yet it still snaps off with the lightest of movement. This can not only damage your softbox but also the bulb of your light source. I am not at all happy with the construction of this item. I have a Newer version and it works much better. This could also be that I received a malfunctioning product, so please take my review as a grain of salt.Read full review...

Better than expected

I expected a completely plastic item but the neck was reenforced with a metal tube, for attaching to light stand. Bowes's mount has the metal lock in/release!
