I'm using this with my AMD FX8350, which overheats easily with the stock cooler, although with this it always remains cool. There is one problem however, If your computer isn't the size of a sedan, you'll probably have difficulties fitting this thing in your case. My case does not close properly anymore, and if I wanted to use both fans I'd have to clear out some RAM slots.... And by some, I mean all of them. Yes It's so big I can't have RAM if I use a second cooling fan. But it does work really well with only one fan, I could play long sessions of very CPU-intensive with no problems, when before my PC would overheat and shutdown within 2 hours.Read full review...

Cheap and effective

This was the perfect solution when installing a used Xeon E5640 on an Asus Sabertooth X58 motherboard i was given with no cooler. I needed an affordable FCLGA1366 cooler that would allow for some overclocking. Cool running

It would t fit in my Dell Case, when I upgraded from an i3 dual core to an i5 quad-core, so I cut a hole in the cover and then covered the rough cut with a decorative automotive hood scoop with a screen vent. Quality Cooler, Amazing Price/Performance Ratio.

I was looking for a sub-$30 cooler that had a good reputation and could push a decent amount of air while still being relatively quiet. Needless to say I was not disappointed. This thing has been keeping my i5 2500k at 27-30C idle and I'm loving it. I haven't had the time to complete any benchmarks with it, but if the performance is the same as what I've already seen, I am destined not to be disappointed. Installation, while a little difficult was nothing that could not be accomplished with a little time and determination. Powerful cooling solution.

Before buying this, I was getting 90+ C° on my CPU due to heavy overclock and gaming. After installing the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus CPU temps never reach the 45 C°. Absolutely effectual.

Keeps the cpu cool while staying quiet!!

This cooler is very nice but the AMD installation hardware isn't that design very well. The hard was doesn't seem to hold the cooler in place very well. Good buy

Work like a charm- CPU temperature is a cool 35.7c before installing Cool Master, the average temperature was 58c. With gaming at 98c- now a cool 45c.
