Absolute best bang for your buck RAID controller
All you need to do to get this thing to be a RAID controller worth 5 times the price is block pins 5 and 6. Then you can use it on your standard Intel chipset motherboard. Enjoy!

This was fairly simple to install and configure for my Dell PowerEdge R610 Server. Note: If you're upgrading from the SAS 6/iR Integrated Adapter you will need to replace the cables (SFF-8087).

Card works great in my custom desktop build. Will need to purchase mounting bracket separately for a non-poweredge pc. Also, I had to upgrade my MB bios to get card to work. Battery was showing degraded, but after a relearn using LSI Megaraid Manager it is showing optimal.Read full review...
