Life Saver

I had achilees surgery and bought the KneeRover off of eBay out of frustration for my lack of mobility and my hatred of crutches. It's been a gigantic help. It does have limitations in that its no good for Conquering stairs or steps of any kind....but once on a flat surface it's great and a huge upgrade from crutches. The one thing I don't like is that it leaves dull "tracks" on hardwood or laminate. You can plainly see them. I'm not sure if it's from the rubber on the wheels or what. They don't seem to be permanent as I can rub them off the floor but it would be nice if this didn't happen. Other than that it's really well built and stable. I am 220 pounds and it handles me perfectly. Highly recommend for those recovering from achilees or foot issues.Read full review...

I did not study the features thoroughly even though I thought it was identical to the one I wanted.

I wanted the scooter that I tested out at the Rehab Facility I recently spent time in. When I came home from Facility and Hospital, I found this on line and hurriedly ordered it as it looked exactly like the one I wanted. My brother came in town to stay with me for a while and after he assembled it. we disposed of the box, I tried it out and was SO disappointed that it only had one break instead of two.
i don't feel very secure and not have used it.

Good Scooter, but there are drawbacks

This scooter is much better built than I expected. Indoors it is great, outdoors it has a few problems. Any unevenness in joints in the concrete will stop it in it's tracks. Some thresholds will also stop it. This can be dangerous if the user is not expecting it. as the scooter tends to tip over forward. Also be warned that it has the approximate turning radius of a Tractor-trailer rig, so it is not very maneuverable unless you can lift the front of the scooter to re-orient it. But it is MUCH better than the walker that I was using. And since I will likely be using it for a year or more I will have plenty of time to get used to it's idiosyncrasies.Read full review...

Conversion Cart for handicap one leged powered system.

I am modifying it be a foot powered handicap cart. I want to modify it to fit into my 2020 C8 Z51 Chevrolet Corvette. No battery powered cart fits this car. So, reengineering it to fit the back truck area. So far, I still have a few modifications to complete. I may be ordering another, to fit my Nissan NismoRS. The light weight of this, makes it easy to put in and take out of both cars. Very pleased on its construction. And high quality! Very fast service as well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Read full review...

Awesome

It was easy to set up and use. The bike frame is steel. It is very sturdy, The axle is narrower than the front front allowing more clearance so your good ankle doesn't hit the rear wheel like other knee scooter do. It is very stable and designed to make wide turns only. I am 5'8" and the rest was perfect on the lowest setting with my Aircast XP boot. It also coast very well with the wheels that it came with. The disc brake works very well. Update 6/22/17 the brake locked up. You might want to adjust/tighten the disk band(two screws with nuts) or the band could pop out and jam into the side of the brake housing. Then adjust the cable end at the lever toet rid of that play. Other than that this little beast is great. Fast too.Read full review...

This is easy...crutches hurt!

Easy and painless movement. If using crutches, there is no comparison. After one day on crutches I hated the thought of using them to go to the next room. With the knee rover, I don't even think twice. Just hop on and zip right in there. Only drawback to me is that the turning radius is too wide to make some turns in one try. You have to back up and turn again. It's a small inconvenience though when you consider the ease of mobility it provides. Also has brakes that lock for getting on and off so it doesn't try to roll away when you're getting on. Read full review...

Good device for the price

This item is good quality and useful when you’ve had foot or ankle issues. It did not come with the basket as shown in the picture, but I’ve really not needed the scooter anyway.

Quality knee scooter.

The KneeRover scooter is well made and beautifully finished. The scooter glides easily along hard or soft surfaces. The brake works well and the basket is a nice touch. It seems very stable and is solidly made.Read full review...

Not What I had Expected

Compared to my other knee roller, this knee roller is hard to push, has a limited steering radius, and the knee pad is stiff. I would like to return it but fear that the cost is prohibitive.
