Bugs not zombies kill this game as the Bugs and Glitches ruin this game!!

This game really could have been called Dead Island 2.0 because the graphics and glitches from the first game were not improved. The story wasn't much and the early price tag of $50.00 should have indicated that this game would be half-assed. Just like the first game, lot of zombie killing, very addicting and fun to play with friends. There are many issues!! The zombies seem endless, and the continual respawning of zombies and just seem like a grind going from all the quests. It seems that you just back track going back and forth over and over. The game glitches a lot!! It would be forgivable but when the game freezes sometimes it can corrupt a game save. I personally lost a character save 3 different times. The game adds a new character and he is a brawler basically, he has a skill tree based around fisticuffs. Its really too bad that the game wasn't polished, the addictiveness of slashing through a horde of zombies makes for one of the funnest most addictive game genres... but the overall glitches, game freezes, and bugs ruins the game.Read full review...

a good all round zombie slaying game

I thought the game was very good, i don't know how some people say its glitchy and full of bugs, i had no problems with that at all, maybe they made a fix for it before i played it, i love killing zombies and mowing them down with cars and boats, some of the side quests are tedious but the main story is very good and its much better fun if you play the game online with friendsRead full review...

I loved the first Dead Island and Riptide is awesome! More zombies and higher difficulty. Online co-op play is great and trading weapons/items is fun. The graphics are a little better and a new hero was added (hint: he's like Wolverine). Overall a good buy - cheap and fun. I suggest this game.Read full review...
