Genuine Epson inks work best, but look for a good price.

I always use genuine Epson ink cartridges with my C88+. I have 3 brand new in the box C88+'s that I bought when they were under $100 because the printer and ink combination give me smudge proof prints at a decent price. Although I must say that the retail price of the inks is high. So to make it a good value I buy the black ink when it's below $8 or below per cartridge and the other colors when they're $6 or below. The generic and refill inks I've tried don't deliver the same color and smudge resistance. Read full review...

Epson Ink is the only satsifing printing you will get your moneys worth!

I own a Epson CX3810 and I use the black ink alot. I Know this product is compatible with many epson printers/scanners. Both the black and color inks have high quality printing, clear and no wetness on the paper. I have not found anything to dislike about the ink. The only thing I can compare the products is pricing is a little better but I have not worked with any other brand inks so I can tell you anything else but that I am happy with epson and would not change it.Read full review...

Always Use The Manufacturer's Brand

I have a Canon and two Epson printers. This is for my Epson C88 printer and I always use the manufacturer's brand of ink in my printers. Ink jet printers are complex machines and I really don't need a problem because I tried to save a few dollars on an off-brand cartridge. Epson printers, in particular, are finicky (my Artisan 50 sometimes won't accept the EPSON cartridge so, for sure I'm not messing with refills there).Read full review...

The cartridges came in a ziplock bag. The cartridges were not sealed, not in boxes. They look authentic and original, not refilled. I have not tried them yet.
