Beautiful passenger car

This car is a member of Lionel's Powhattan Arrow train that came out in 1981, but is of similar construction to the 2500 series cars from the post-war era. It has die-cast trucks, operating couplers, and 2 roller pickups to power the lights. The body is aluminum, has the fluted sides, and is painted maroon and black with gold numbers and stripes. There's also frosted windows with silhouettes of people. The initial train was a baggage, combine, 2 coaches and an observation. Lionel later added a dome, and a full dome. They also made similar cars with smooth sides, so one could assemble quite a long train. These cars are beautiful and operate well.Read full review...
