The cable is fine and there are no problems with it. It is good quality as you can tell my the chunky cable that it has the full pins connected. Use it for Motion Graphics and editing work on a HD monitor and there are no problems. Quality is good, my other monitor is HDMI and there is no difference in quality. The quality is not fanastic but check the price you get what you pay for.
Some sort of very hard almost brittle plastic moulded ends really tight connectors I thought I was never going to get these on the cards at first just be carful not to bend the pins these are not highest quality.

if you are buying it to be used with an active display port to dvi-d converter don't bother, when used, causes artifacts all over the place my old non gold plated ferite 2m dvi cable works flawlessly. if you wanted for normal use its ok. mediocre quality, money wasted.Read full review...
