Coffee Bean Roaster
Very easy to use.....does the job fast. I just wish it had more volume in that it could roast more beans at a time.
I give it a 41/2 star rating.

You get what you pay for but I would not recommend this product
I spent a lot of time reviewing other Roasters and methods to roasting coffee beans typically it should take between 10 and 16 minutes this product takes at least 3 hours I tried for hours and there was no difference so I can't get a dark roast out of it. It doesn't even get as dark as what you can pay for at the supermarket. Which by the way is Starbucks Sumatra which is still my favorite coffee. It is difficult for me physically to do any packaging and returning products as I was hit by a car in mid-june and have several broken bones that are mending. Also I want to mention that the device gets too hot to use during the day indoors so I tried to use it Outdoors which is fine but it's hard for me to walk upstairs and downstairs. If you have a very well air condition area inside of horse this may work for you but as my research showed you can just use an oven or a pan on the stove also which in the olden days that's what they did.

I wasn't aware that it is older item that probably was used quite often. The appearance was fantastic, but it took forever to roast the beans.

A shame that this was discontinued a long time ago.
My 1984 240 volt version is superb and re-roasts coffee in just a few minutes.
I suspect that the bad reviews are for 110 volt versions from the USA. These were available with different brand names, but they were all the same - apart from the voltage. The fan motor would probably work at a slower speed but the heating element wouldn't really heat up enough to roast the coffee beans.Read full review...

Underpowered
I used to have one. They work, but they need to be placed inside of a bucket to recirculate the heat. I used to roast to full city in about 6 minutes with the bucket. The problem with this fix is that it eventually overtemps the thermo fuse.
The only advantage this has over a popcorn popper is the chaff collector, which is effective. Read full review...
