More bang for the buck and well worth the price.

I spent a week researching external Hard Drives and this unit is the best bang for the buck hands down. There are many 2 TB drives on the market for close to the same price so you might as well go with the 3 TB. I've owned several Seagate Hard Drives for my PC in the past and have had very good service out of them. This drive is extremely easy to set up and use. Just plug it in and its ready to go in no time. The included backup software was a little disappointing as it is a 31 day free trial and you have to buy it. To be quite honest, it's not needed and more expense for nothing. Since I already have backup software installed with my Norton 360 I ignored it. Most of the time if I am backing up my files I do it manually to ensure there are no problems. Was extremely easy to do so and took no time to back up nearly 300 GB of files. This drive looks very nice and takes up very little space. I also like the fact that it is USB 2.0 and required no upgrades to my PC to use it. Yes the data transfer rate is a little slower but I don't mind. It does quite well and I am very pleased with it's performance and will gladly buy another one if I find the need for one. I highly recommend this product the general user that needs extra storage for file safekeeping and or backup. Well worth the money spent.Read full review...

Excellent external hard drive 2.0

I like this external hard drive. I have 2 of them now. There are smaller ones and faster ones but this reliably does the job. I will get a third if I need another external hard drive.

Great product! Bought it to back up my computer. Excellent value and very easy to use. Power cord is a bit annoying but necessary for the 3TB of storage available. Extremely good value considering you can buy a 1TB or 1TB Storage drive for almost the same price.Read full review...
