Older phone that does not function properly

Although this was an inexpensive older phone I didn't think that the built in options would not work. After purchasing the phone about a month ago you can no longer receive calls. You can call out and text but it does not show someone is calling. The internet is hooked up to my home WiFi but that constantly fails snd yu are unable to take pictures or receive them.
