Inexpensive, tough, lots of features- GREAT BUY
I bought this camera 3 weeks ago. So far, I'm more than satisfied! It takes great underwater pictures and videos! Very clear, very colorful. Zoom and auto-focus work well together - pictures are clear even when zoomed all the way in. The flash is a little bright, so it washes the picture out if the subject is too close. Features are very easy to use and there are tons of them. My favorite is the feature that allows for pictures to be taken in very quick succession. You hold down the capture button and it takes a series of pictures (for as long as you hold down the button). The dedicated video button allows for quick switch from picture to video - saves you a precious few seconds so you don't miss the moment. The battery life is not great, but an extra battery is not expensive. The camera also comes with a good program for the computer. The olympus website allows you to redownload the program in case anything happens to it, all you need is the serial number on the camera.
All in all, great buy! Cheap, fun, sturdy. Great camera for the athletic AND the clumsy.Read full review...
Olympus Stylus Tough 3000 12.0 Megapixel
This the third PINK Olympus camera I have bought for my daughter she love's to take picture's all the time; but she has very poor luck with camera's; So this time I bought the Olympus Stylus "TOUGH" 3000 for her she is becoming a very good photographer learning from these easy to use Olympus camera's "composition- lighting and good all round camera technique's for making great photography; with it's 12.0 megapixel and all of it's other great feature's I'am sure she's going to get even better now with this new camera; Plus it's TOUGH !Read full review...
Olympus Stylus Tough 3000 12.0 Megapixel Digital Camera
Fantastic waterproof camera,packed with features. one major thing that was not identified in the description, is that the camera has the user manual built in the memory. This was a problem for me as the camera requires windows and a p.c. ,and I am a mac owner. A call to the service center ,was swiftly answered, and the solution was to download the manual, direct from the company,.It is over 83 pages and took a while to navigate. but I think I prefer this format of a manual. The deal I got on E bay was great, the shipping was quick and I got extras with my purchase, not offered in other auctions. So far the camera takes great photos and is pretty much self explanatory in the functions. Can't comment on the waterproof part, as I haven't tested it.Read full review...
Hot Pink
We have a 5 year daughter who is extremely interested in taking her own photos, she has a good eye for images for a small child but still has the capacity to damage electronic goods by dropping them. We bought this camera as a Christmas present for her and it fulfills all the criteria we required as well as the absolutely most important wish of a little girl that it would be very very pink. The camera is easy to hold for small hands and adults alike, the directions and buttons are simple to use with some supervision and the images are of an excellent resolution, clarity and colour. Our little girl is over the moon, has documented every inch of our house and because it is easy to upload the images she can just keep shooting.Read full review...
Olypus Camera
My origional camera got broken. I was not real happy with it because it did not have a stop motion sensor like my first digital camera did. My first camera was my favorite because it had a picture of a child running...clearly you could tell to switch it to that setting when photographing our Grandchildren. My husband bought me a new camera (the one that got broken) so I gave the other one to our daughter. This one is ok at not taking blurry pictures, but more complicated getting to the setting I want. I have to keep referring to the instructions to remind me how to do it...and the instructions are not real clear either. Probably made in China like everything else these days. I like my cameras simple, and this one is not as easy as I would like. But the pictures are really nice and clear, so no real major complaints. Thanks.Read full review...
Great Point and Shoot Camera, durable, simple to use
This camera is a great buy for all the bells and whistles it has. My daughter in-law researched camera's that her Marine Corps husband stationed overseas would not break, or drown, but was also simple to use. This one got first place in her mind and once it arrived she was not disappointed. A plus was all the special effects it has available. This camera will see a lot of action.Read full review...
Olympus Stylus Tough 3000 12.0 Megapixel Digital Camera
This is a nice little camera. I love the big screen on the back so you can see the picture you are about to take more clearly. It's nice in the aspect you can take it with you swimming, take it on hikes and you can drop it and it wont do any harsh damage. Although the photos it takes are nice. It's not great... If your trying to use it to capture some detail of small objects like jewelry or the rain drops on a flower for example. It really does not show that great of detail. But if your taking it for everyday pictures this isn't so bad. Some Bonus features this has is its video capability. My daughter has used this to take many videos of the various animals in our house and they have turned out well. But as i said before the pictures are are good they are not great....If your looking for a basic camera that wont drown or break this is great.I'd say this would be a great first camera for kids. But if you are looking for something that can really pick up detail of things this is not for you.Read full review...
Great Camera
I was on my way to Punta Cana for a little fun in the sun with my girlfriend and decided to get an underwater camera. I read all the reviews and searched far and wide. I narrowed down my options and decided to go with the Olympus Tough. I couldn't be happier. Amazing picture quality, ease of use and the underwater pictures are amazing. No complaints. AWSOME!
This camera is excellent for when you want to have fun and take pictures in a pool, sharing with friends and family. Has awesome features although not all features give you 12mp quality. As you change features, picture quality may be hurt some, but overall IT IS A FUN CAMERA! Lots of memories to keep!Read full review...

My daughter got me into this camera she had a lower model.
When you look at the pic it doesn't seem clear when the pic is printed it's beautiful excellent colors and the clarity is 100% I really like this camera and have used under water. That's the fun part people scream the camera you just put it in the water not knowing that it was meant for that. Altogether this is my choice camera.
