I really like the ability to turn the subwoofer on off or the volume of the sub up or down. The surround sound works very nicely in my living room. I had basically the same system before (it was the 850 model with dvd player) i think the sony systems sound very nice for the price. a new reciever with speakers is easily 300-400+. I paid 125 for this reciever surround sound speakers and sub. The only downfall is that it didnt come with a remote however one can be picked up for under 30 its not something im going to buy it works fine without one.Read full review...
