Quite pleased, but some features missing

After looking for a new phone for several months, I finally found one within a decent price range(50 & under) that meets all my needs.

This phone was declared the slimmest phone in 2006.
It has speakerphone, PC connectivity, mp3 player and all the other features of a decent modern phone.

Navigation through the menus isn't always easy, specifically with texting, but overall I'm extremely pleased with this phone.
It does have some downsides. The camera is so-so & there is no ability to install a memory card. You're stuck with the internal 80mb.
This isn't a problem for me since I don't use it as an actual mp3 player, but just for ringtones.

Overall 85/100. Much improvement over my previous phone.

Best phone I have owned to date!

First off, The screen is awesome! Vivid colors! great res for such a small panel. Signal reception is great I have yet to find a spot where I have no bars, call audio is great as well, great volume control, and the speakerphone is actually useful, you don't have to hold it up to your mouth when you talk to someone. The MP3 player is also a nice feature. The phone has a little over 80MB for video, photo and music storage. I got 22 songs on it encoded at 192kbs, so if you encode at at lower bit-rate you could most likely double that. Playback through the speakerphone is really quite good. You can also play through Bluetooth wireless headphones. It has selectable EQ modes like JAZZ, ROCK, ect. It will record MP4 video, or just low-res video suitable for multi-media messages. You can even use your video clips as wallpaper. The size is a little awkward at first...It feels like the face plate of a phone, and it's so lightweight! I forget it's in my back pocket and sit on it constantly, but have yet to snap it in half...Very tough case! Battery life is about two days with light use...The only negative with this phone is that I would like more memory which would have to be embedded because it is just to thin for a mini-SD or Transflash slot. I replaced My Moto SLVR L7 with this phone, and it's like comparing apples to oranges...It just blows Moto off the map!!!Read full review...

Great products

This ultra slim phone is very function and useable. I was surprise by the sound quality of the calls and the speaker quality when playing music. Samsung has packed quite a few good features in this phone despite is small size. The 2MP camera is okay, but could use a flash and be a little better quality. If you need something small, pocket size then do not hesitate buying this phone.Read full review...

Perfect voice communication companion

Slim, light, tough. Takes great pictures for a phone this size, clear sound. Works well with BT handsfree.
GPRS/EDGE a nice bonus but if you are a heavy "e-mail"-er look somewhere else.
Battery life is awsome.
I am using one since they were released on the market and bought this one for my dad.
You will not be dissapointed!

Absolutely great!

I have one myself and it's absolutely great! It's a very thin light and versatile mobile phone. The menu is also very user friendly and easy to navigate.
