5 star pocket Computer Tablet Smart Phone. I am never without it. I keep it in a shirt pocket at all times except when it is under my pillows.
I bought the international model a while ago and used it with my T-Mobile account ($30/mo. unlimited, Walmart) until one made to use with their network was released. This takes advantage of their 4G network and it's super fast.
The best gadget I own. Since getting the Galaxy Note I've sold my iPhone, iPad and other tablets except the paper white Kindles and use this and my desktops exclusively.
It's quick, boots up fast and has a good size screen that is easy to read or watch.
I use it for editing documents, to read books, play my audio books, games and music. I watch TV and movies, take notes, written and audible also I check on Facebook and Twitter. I get the Drudge report and You Tube. I love using Dolphin Browser to surf the web you just talk to the search engine and bingo the page is loaded, I love it. And with messaging just touch the mic icon and it types everthing you say then touch send.
The cameras are fun and take great videos and snaps. You can use the front one for video massaging too.
The stylus or pen is a lot of fun and I have a couple of great sketching programs that really waste a lot of my time, but I love it. It will also typeset your handwritten notes and send them to email or a file.
You should save up and buy the Samsung Galaxy NOTE; the value is there, you won't regret it.
This is the best all round answer in the smart phone market right now....

no better device for the money

This is a terrific cellphone, tablet, handset. I do tech work for a living and know the diff.. Everything is right on this device. Videos are awesome, sound level is great even through the speaker [especially if positioned just right], gorgeous display, WIFI is strong with no complaining [unlike so many], calls are crisp, storage is fine for nearly everyone, it seems tough. I hear of way less screen-glass fractures on this vs others. I can't think of a thing I would gain by using a different device.Read full review...

Once you'd had a giant screen, you'll never go back!

Don't worry about it being too large. Once you've used this thing, you'll never go back to a smaller phone!
Cpu could be a bit faster, but not bad at all.
The screen is gorgeous, so easy to see even with my not-so-great eyes!
Actually fits in your front pocket much better than you would think it would.
Make sure to get one of the thin, rubbery cases for it though as it's a bit slick. I dropped it twice the first day I had it. Luckily it was on carpet. A sleeve only make's it a tiny bit larger and thicker but really helps with holding on to it.Read full review...

This is not a T-mobile phone. This is just stealing from customers.

Never buy this phone if your expectation is to buy T-Mobile phone. This in an AT&T phone. All they have done is change the front with a T-Mobile logo. I've not been able to update the phone because of this. Quite a big deception. Will never buy any products from eBay. Actually it is not SGH-T879 but rather AT&T I717.Read full review...
