Good phone. Not perfect.

A few annoying things: can only set one alarm, for some reason it takes a couple seconds for the time to show up when you press a button. The battery life is also not that great compared to previous flip phones I've used. Overall, still a good phone and a good purchase.Read full review...

6350B, I love this particular model Nokia But...

Mini screen started going out right after putting it in service. Keeps shutting off before the battery is critically low. Bought a couple, don't like the upgraded software I blocked on my old one on either of them and will end up throwing it on the reserve pile since I've had it too long...Read full review...

rugged phone and easy to use.

This is the second one that I have owned. My first one bit the dust since I dropped in the water 3 times. It worked after the first two but the 3rd one was the killer and I dried it out incorrectly. Anyways, before that, I've cracked the screen, crushed it a bunch of times and it still kept going. I like the flip feature since I work in landscaping construction and always getting dirt in it and mud...etc. It doesn't look rugged but it is. I don't think a smartphone would survive being on my job. Battery life is good and will last the 8 hrs of use with no problem. A little pain since there is no keyboard for texting but I'm not a big texter anyways. It works for me since all I'm intersted in is having a phone and not a computer. There is enough web stuff on it to keep me happy. Like the weather.Read full review...

Nokia 6350 (AT&T)

An average cell phone good for talking or texting. It has a few other buttons that you need to tell AT&T to disable to avoid surfing the net by accident. Cell phones were made for talking. Personal computers were made for surfing the Internet. I sure cannot be wasting my time looking at that little screen. Just use a PC for the Internet. Also it sometimes calls people because it has voice calling, that I have not figured out how to disable. Takes a few hours to personalize, like putting call forwarding on a one touch key, or missed calls on a one touch key. This feature makes it easier once you program it. It lasts about a year. My microphone quit working in 13 months. I just replaced it with the same phone since I already knew how to use most of the features. It is easier than trying to learn a new phone which sometimes can be frustrating along with wasting your time reading a 900 page phone manual in 15 different languages.Read full review...

Great Value for an Everyday Basic Phone!

I bought this phone to replace a similar phone on which the screen broke. It is an easy to use, basic phone with enough features for everyday use. Font is easy to read and size can be adjusted. I received good service and wear out of my first Nokia 6350 and look forward to the same with this one.Read full review...

Nice Cleanly Designed Phone -- but needs Mac Support

I would give this phone and excellent except for a handful of unfortunate flaws:
1. No Mac support for the address book without going outside of Apple and Nokia.AT&T for the compatibility file. This is really stupid. It took me 2 hours to find the work around.
2. Speaker phone loudspeaker has poor sound quality
3. WIRED headphone is hard to find, and manual is really bad/vague on this .
4, ATT crud makes in hard to avoid unintentional data charges
5. Back cover slides off too easily.
6. BATTERY LIFE IS REALLY LOW (ONE DAY)

Good points:
1.G3 voice quality is excellent, with very low speak-to-hear delay
2.interface is intuitive.
3. Recent calls list is very well done.
4. Thin, light, compact
5. Esthetic, clean design

Parted out, good stuff here!

The phone I received was exactly as described in the listing, with a damaged main display. It was still completely functional even with the display being damaged, and powered up straight out of the box. The outside of the phone case had 1 minor smudge on it, in MUCH better condition that my existing phone that had a years worth of wear and tear on it. I was plesantly surprised to see that a good battery (fully charged, I might add) was included with this phone. If I wanted to use this phone as a replacement, all I would have had to do was swap the SIM card from my old phone to the new one and I would have been up and running. My original Nokia also had a broken display, but mine was the outside (auxiliary) display, and this phone that I bought was specifically for parts. About 20 minutes of work to swap components back and forth between the two units, and I how have a perfectly functioning cellphone plus a spare battery for less than $10.
For those of you out there that are not mechanically challenged, this is a great way to save some serious bux and repair your own equipment. A complete replacement phone from AT&T would have cost me over $200 retail, so you can see this was quite a steal for me!

My favorite phone!

This phone is perfect for me. I previously used a smartphone (Nokia E71x), which is a very good phone but I found that I wasn't using much of the smartphone functionality. So I decided to go back to the "basic" phone concept (i.e., no full keyboard, no smartphone data contract, etc.).

This is my favorite phone ever. Slim flip-phone form factor. Great Nokia user interface (personal preference, but it really makes sense for me). Nice bright displays. Great audio quality for voice calls, as typical for Nokia. GPS is nice to have. Just perfect for me.

I've only been using it for a week, so I don't have a full report on battery life yet. So far, it seems about what one gets with cellphones these days. I'm a little disappointed that it doesn't use the same "pin" chargers that older Nokias use, but the micro USB charger interface works fine (and additional chargers are inexpensive online).

Again, this phone suits my personal preferences perfectly. You may want more smartphone things, in which case this isn't the one for you. But as a phone with text/web/GPS capability, it is just perfect.

Good, reliable un-smart phone

Replaced a broken Nokia 6085. The 6350 has a better display. Also feels lighter built (not as good at taking the hard knocks). Also, when bumped, the back has an annoying tendency to pop off. But overall, a decent, unassuming and easy to use phone.Read full review...

If you actually want to talk to someone....

Much superior voice clarity than any so-called “smart” phone. Outstanding reception - can acquire signals which a dumb phone cannot. It actually fits into your pocket. You don’t need a holster to carry it around. If all you want/need to do is talk with someone, don’t waste your money on a dumb phone. Not very good for texting.Read full review...

Best Phone I've Ever Used. Just Enough Bells & Whistles!

This is not my first Nokia 6350. I purchased it for a backup (for the next time my falls out of my pocket in the driveway & I run over it!) Other than running over them, they are extremely rugged. I like my phone to be phone. The camera does come in handy and the pictures come out really good. I like the additional mini SD card storage too. If there is anything I dislike it's when I do use it as a camera the display is not as big as on an 'do a bunch of unnecessary stuff' type phones and this isn't really a negative for me.
I've used cellphones for about 20 years and NOKIA has always had the best reception in our rural area.
