A good basic phone
I have bought a couple of these little Nokias and they are ideal for my needs. I do not have much use for a mobile phone as I tend to have access to a landline or the internet at most times, but these phones suit me perfectly. They are simple to use, battery life is good, and they are small. The
No you cannot really surf the net on them (WAP has always been a bad joke!) but that is not what a $20 mobile phone is for. They are for making phone calls and texting. And they do that job very well.
I'd recommend this to anyone who wants an affordable and easy to use phone and is a light user of mobile comms. So I guess that rules out 90% of under 40 year olds. :)Read full review...
Nokia 2720
The phone itself is small, fits perfectly in my hands. I like the way it looks but it collects finger prints like a fly to a web. I am very disappointed it has no memory card slot. I am also a little disappointed that once you turn on the phone the set up looks kind of dated. It works well, easy to text on, nice volume during calls. The ring tones are not that loud. I have yet to use the "radio" or "mp3 player" it was said to come with because honestly I can not seem to find the mp3 control. Well I most likely will only use this phone as a back up right now because its too simple for me. Sleek, small and easy to use
I bought this product because I already have one and I like it because it goes with everything I have already. I wanted to have a spare phone at home now that my grand children live with me.
I like the phone it is small and easy to use. The only thing that I don't like is that if you drop the phone, depending on what kind of surface the phone falls on. The battery cover has a tentancy to come off and the battery sometime falls out. So if you were trying to make a quick call you have to get it back together turn it back on. Other then that I like my little phone.
I really can't answer this question on comparing products I have olny had 2 cell phones. I still have my original motorola phone. I only repaced that because it wasn't picking up the signal in Maine and the Nokia phones pick up the signal for service better. I live in a vally surrounded by mountains so reception is very spotty here. We need more cell phone towers in this area Andover, Rumford, Roxbury, Rnagely, Mexico, Upton, Bethal all the surrounding
towns then you would see that the cell phones out there would really get good reviews! It is the lack of service that upset most of the people here. Not the phones.Read full review...
Nokia 2720 good basic phone
Bought a nokia 2720 for my daughters B-day. she is twelve, and it meets her needs well. good battery life. okay camera. video could be better , but after all it is a low end phone. all in all its not a bad phone. the main down-side with this phone is, no expandable memory. you are stuck with whats on the phone itself.so storing pictures, video,or even a large number of text messages will fill up the memory. to summerize my daughter has had this phone over a month. and she loves it.Read full review...
Nokia 2720
I previously had a Nokia 6133, and was expecting the same quality phone.
The 2720 is awkward to open, and just feels wrong. I want to open it up backwards because of the odd feel. Several other people tell me the same thing with this model. It also does't have a push button to pop it open when answering a call and is a clumsy two handed procedure.
The 2720 will take pictures, but has no way to put them on the computer other than to download them. This takes forever, and I have only figured out how to do one at a time, and they have to be less than 100K. With a 1.3 meg camera, this doesn't work too well. There are no memory chips.
The 6133 had a socket for a memory chip, and I could download 100 or more pictures in a few minutes.
I ordered parts and a tool to repair my old 6133 and can't wait to get it working again. Even the 6133 is not waterproof.Read full review...

Its simple, not to fancy and easy to use. I got tired of all the fancy slider phones and touch screen so i sold them all and bought this it was great and still is. can do everything any other phone can; email, pic messaging, txt, messenger. etc.Read full review...
Nokia 2720
I needed a replacement phone for my daughter who is on my family plan and this was exactly what she needed. She doesn't do alot of texting, internet or any of the other fancy things that mobile services offer. She said this phone has good sound quality when she talks on it and she hears the other person clearly. It's perfect for calling the schools to let them know if she's running late to pick her kids up after school. It's a very plain but nice functional phone and a great price.Read full review...
Oldie But Goodie
This is an older flip style phone, but it's good. Simple and easy to use. Good Camera. Has all basic features and is compact and stylish. Preloaded with games and ringtones. I was happy with this purchase as a second phone.Read full review...
Great little guy!
This is an easy to use phone for those of us who can careless about technology. Cute-small-portable.
Something worth mentioning= I use this little guy when I travel overseas; I just change the chip and I am ready to go.
Overall this is a phone that you could give to an older relative, senior who does not want to get a PhD in phone technology or to a youngest who does not deserve a high tech phone and should work hard to get one!! :)

Good phone for the price.
This cell phone has a nice design, very loud speakerphone, small and light, easy to use. The only bad thing I find is that it does not have an sd card slot.
