The phone is cool

Went with AT&T wanted to try the RAZR V3XX and it truely is a nice phone, but my battery is not charging. Good thing is they are replacing it for free witch is cool. So I am happy so fare. And the phone has a BIG WINDOW so you can see all you no what i mean. So i'm going to see how it does for a few months. But don't be afraid to buy one because u will like all the features.I have played with alot of cell phones and this one is good so fare nock on wood. But there are alot of good cell phones out there in wonder land you just have to do you'r homework. And the big thing is what provider you have and the phone they offer you to use with the contract. Don't be afraid to get what cell phone you like for a phone, remember you will have a 2 year contract with the phone and the provider so choose wisely you no, thanks Ray.Read full review...

Can't go wrong with a Motorola

I have had several types of Motorola phones through the years & with various carriers. I have also had other brands, but when my phone was dying of old age I decided I wanted to go back to Motorola. I went to ebay for 2 reasons, did not want to be under a new contract & because AT&T does not carry the Motorola RAZR I like. I am not into the so called smartphones. Won't use all the features & don't want to pay for them! The RAZR V3xx is a nice easy to use but reliable phone. Has good clear sound, can't complain about the picutes I've taken. I made sure my phone was a new one & from the US. I have no complaints and have had the phone several months. I would buy again and deffiantly recommend to anyone.Read full review...

Still praising the Razr V3xx (unlocked)

I have an affinity to these phones so my review I'm afraid is going to be somewhat biased. The first Razr I owned was the V3i and I fell in love with it. I have since tried the LG Encite and didn't really like it. I went to the LG Vue and didn't care for that one either. I gave the V3i to my son when his V3 broke and he still uses it. I purchased a V3xx with an internal as well as an external camera, along with other features. It is sleek and trim. Others have said it is "sexy". I think so too. The camera is only 1.3 mg pxls which by some standards is lacking but I don't mind. It seems to me that the few pictures I take with my phone turn out suitable to me. I have other cameras and video recording equip. if I need very hi quality. I take excellent care of my equipment so this phone already has a screen protector on both sides. I purchased a second phone very similar to the first. Now I have two of these. Screen protectors going on the second phone today. The thing I don't like about these phones is that there are very few cases or belt clips available for them because they aren't "popular" anymore.
I can access the internet with this phone whenever I want to. It doesn't require a $30 to $40 Data Plan every month to use it. Another plus in my book!
My wife was using a pink V3 that her broke. I purchased a pink V3xx for her also. Hers as well is all chrome on the inside. These are just very nice phones.

Razr v3xx

I had the original silver grey razr. I used it for phone and pics only.
I never upgraded to other phones while others in my family did.
I did buy a Sony Ericson which I used one time then I put it in a drawer.
I didn't like the navigation although the Sony is a suer phone.
I missed the size and feel of the Razr flip phone.

I wanted the same Razr feel and size of a phone.
I bought the V3xx in the Maroon color. I really dig it. It even has 3g network etc. I haven't used it for that. At this time I use this new V3xx only for phone and pics. The phone dimensions are slightly larger. I think it is in all respect a super sleek and good looking phone with the similar navigation.
There is no comparison from the original to the new V3xx. The new phone is really the best. Camera/ video and the speed of the new one is great.
I love the feel of the phone and all it does. Once a Razr fan always a razr fan!!

Razr is way to go !

the v3xx model of the Razr is in my opinion the best of the best ...especially unlocked.. you can use it anywhere - north america, europe and asia ..and I do

one of the reviews complained of a lack of belt clips and the reason is probably because most people just stick it in their pocket because it is so small.

I could have gone with an iPhone but I really like the Razr for all it has and its small compact size cannot be beat .

A great choice!

I do like the phone in spite of the shortcomings.

I like the Razr because it is easy to use, and I am 79 years old. It is a better model than before. The only thing is that it is an Asian model and I can't add to my address book or get online because the directions are in a foreign language. (Asian)
The vendor sent it out quickly and it was well packed.

Motorola V3xx ATT Phone

Let me start by saying that I only buy BRAND NEW and from US Sellers ONLY and I always get the ATT Version Razors so this review is on that basis.

PROS: I have worked for ATT/Cingular since 2002 and have of course dealt with many hundreds of different model phones in my time. The V3xx is an EXCELLENT phone one of the best that you can find on the market and relatively inexpensive(on EBay roughly $100 US) the reception on this particular phone is one of the best you can find its also loud (ringer and mic) and its pretty easy to use, also is one of the few phones that still has an available option for an external antenna if you work in oil field or treeing industries this could be very beneficial to you or even if you just live in the boondocks like me. I have dealt with thousands of these units in my time and have had great success overall with them in fact I have bought over 200 of them in just the last 6 months from Dec 2009 to May 2010 because in my business there is still a really high demand for these units.

CONS: Only real issue I have with this phone is that I can almost assure you no matter who you are and how you charge it that the battery will go out after almost exactly one year coincidentally most warranties are only good for year (but thats just a personal observation).

Even with all this said I would rate this phone as 4.6 out of 5

Love the RAZR v3xx

I have had two other phones since my last Razr phone. When I lost the last one I decided to go back to the RAZR. It has the features I like, flip phone, camera, compact size, and best of all it can sync my contacts with outlook using mobile phone tools. I returned a much more expensive phone to get a new RAZR and I'm SO happy with the decision.Read full review...

Motorola RAZR V3xx

I have had several cell phones, different styles, costs and features, but the Razr is the most versatile and sturdy I have encountered for the price. They last well for the torture tests my wife puts them through. Some of the other phones didn't last 3 months, but these Razr phones last her about 18 months.I use the phone for making calls, I am not a big "texter", do not care about watching movies on my phone, and I am not concerned about having all the latest "apps". This phone does all I need it to do, I use the Camera feature a lot. If you want a reliable sturdy phone without all the "bells and whistles" This is the phone I would recommend.Read full review...

Phone for the Future???

Had a V3 original, loved it. Bought v3xx as upgrade. Didn't work out for me. I live in the country, put a 'signal repeater' in my home. Old RazR v3 worked well in most areas. The new v3xx was so sensative to having or not having a specified signal it was constantly flipping [and it can make a noise for this] to 'no signal' 'emergency 911 use only' all the time. In short, it wouldn't work for me, it never functioned as a 'phone'.
However, when I drove on the 'corridor' I'd pass about 3 bars. When I reached Fort Worth it was all over the place with bars. So, it appears this particular phone from China will work well in a city full of bars but doesn't do so well further away. The old RazR v3 works just fine, sober in the sticks. I don't have a clue why this is and have given the phone away. Best of luck.
