Great Phone Cool Features

Pros: Good loud speakerphone, understands voice commands well and announces who is calling well. Takes decent pictures and video and puts them right on my microSD card. The card can also contain lots (16GB card max) of mp3 music to listen to through the nice loud speaker or built in headphone jack! Nice calender, alarm clock, and Fm radio. Touchscreen scrolls nicely and allows many different options at once. Nice size, decent battery standby and talk time. Great price, $100 includes $50 in airtime. Comes with a new ATT SIM or drop in your own.

Cons: Touchscreen is sometimes difficult to use, like dialing someone when you're trying to scroll through a list. The operating system is sometimes frustrating in being inconvenient, like when you just start a call having to unlock the screen and then push a dialpad button to get a dial pad to allow you to finally press a "1" or "#" or whatever. The phone doesn't know which way is up, and it won't allow you to pinch and expand an image to zoom in, like some other units. It doesn't allow you to use your own songs for a ringtone, you have to download them.

My humble opinion? It doesn't play videos, it doesn't fit on my wrist, and it's a little quirky and simple, but it's still a GREAT phone. I would buy it again.

Recommended! Great phone for the price! Lot's of "iphone" style features!

This is my 3rd lg prime, so yes i like them! unfortunately this brand new one is already starting to show some signs of disfunction that usually take closer to a year to show up. it does "stick" some, but mostly i notice it in the texting. either the texts "failing" or being received, but blank (no content). i like how it's laid out like an iphone & i have a go plan so i get unlimited calls, texting & web (no data). the phone holds lots of contacts and i use a micro sd card & so it holds plenty songs, pictures, etc. i dont have an ipod, so i d/l audio books and music to it & use it at the beach or jogging. So for the low price I highly recommend it. There are several new android go phones that i haven't checked out yet, but of course the prices are triple or more of the prime.Read full review...

Despite its faults, the LG Prime is a nice phone

The good: The LG Prime has a customizable home screen, a colorful display, intuitive controls, a music player, a 2-megapixel camera, an HTML Web browser, Bluetooth, and good call quality.

The bad: The LG Prime's touch screen is a little sluggish, its camera's photo quality is mediocre, and surfing full HTML pages is not a smooth experience.Read full review...

My first Touch Screen Cell Phone. Awesome!

Had this about 3 months now. And my best friend is getting one because she is tired of replacing hers. Now its AT&T so if you have issues with them, thats for you to get figured out. Since I have been with AT&T no problems at all. I even took this all the way up to Alaska, into the Bush and it never failed!
Its pretty straight forward to learn. No I didnt even need a 13 year olds help this time. LOL
You do have to watch the battery if you do anything more with the web browser, music player or email features. But as the technology improves I am sure battery life will also,
There are a number of accessories for it that are affordable also. But I had no plans to get a touch screen phone. This was all that was available at the time, and it was the best investment I made in a cell phone in the last 3 years. I highly recommend it.
Now for say teenagers? Perhaps not, they will be brutal, and this thing is so light? I can see it getting tossed around pretty easily. Again as the technology improves I am sure that sort of thing will not be important.

Neat features but is lacking on execution

This phone was a reasonable price for what it does. It has good reception and nice arrangement of functions. The ability to set a different ringtone for each person is there but was hard to find and buried deep.. but it's there!

There are two major drawbacks that I have encountered. 1-it will unlock itself in my pocket and do whatever it wants. 2-it is next to impossible to scroll without selecting. I can try to find a number in my contacts and it will sometime call the number I touch instead of scrolling. So far, the iphone is the only one I have used that has perfected the touch screen, though admittedly I haven't tried any androids yet.

LG Prime GS390

This phone is really good for how cheap it is, I was surprised, I like it alot, I only had a $100 to work with to find me a decent new phone, witch is why i picked this one, and i had alot of people telling me that this phone wasn't worth it, well you know what, i bought it and it's DEFFENTLY WORTH IT, i bascally paid $35 for the phone because i got $50 Free credit with it and this phone is worth every bit of it, i love the touch screen the setup, and all the feature's. So if your looking for a good prepaid in the $100 range, I RECOMMEND THIS ONE.Read full review...

Average at best.

Awful phone! I've owned it since February 2011 and I haven't used it for 4 straight months without it giving me problems with the digitizer. I've changed it twice already and the problem has come up again. You can't use an actual MP3 song as a ringtone. Not many good features, to be honest. If it were a $30 phone then it would be great for the money but unfortunately it isn't.

Overall the phone is a poor man's bad version of a touchscreen phone. I'm ready to sell it for whatever amount I can get and move on. DO NOT BUY if you actually intend to enjoy touchscreen experience.
