Overall great value, Needs break-in time.
I picked these up to replace some Sony SB-1000s in my 7.1 system. Huge difference in output. I was disappointed at first because the sound was garbled, a kind of washed-out woofer sound. After tweaking the EQ a bit and taking off the grilles, these speakers sound three times better. My room is 16 x 30 and these sit on the far back wall 8 feet high, so up close they will sound watery, but at the center of the room they sound just right. They may need breaking in time as most Klipsch speakers do. My RS-7 surrounds tend to overpower the RB-35 rears in the horn department, but blend great in the woofer department.Read full review...
RB-35 as main sound speakers
First Im driving the Klipsch with a 300B 9W per channel tube SET. The speakers are so efficient that it drive them very loud ! For the price paid and even new these speakers really rock, they are design over the famous RB-5 II so those other review apply on describing the product. Having owning the past serie as well, I would said that RB-35 sound even more smooth. Only think to complain will be bass extension, but that was expected for speakers that size - just add a subwoofer. If you are tie on budget but want the best, this is your option.Read full review...
RB-35
I bought these on reputation alone. I was upgrading from a quintet surround sound and wanted to improve the sound quality and so I chose these as my left and right fronts. They are heavy but not bulky. The sound did not improve as far as the highs are concerned. What you will see is the improvement the larger woofers bring. Music has a sharp sound to it (I didn't buy it for music). I purchased these for viewing movies and the sound did improve. They are good speakers.Read full review...
Great speaker I would recommend to anybody.
I had Klipsch RB-61II when I bought the RB-35's for work. The RB-35 sounds much better because of the 8" woofer. Base notes are much more pronounced making the overall sound richer and fuller, very tight and controlled. Great speaker I would recommend to anybody.Read full review...
