This is a durable, beautiful, fast and powerful phone.

The HTC Droid Incredible is a durable, beautiful, fast and powerful phone. The Incredible is a great example of the power that the Android OS has to offer. The phone is well built and the UI (User Interface) is very well organized and easy to use. Screen resolution is bright and clear. It boasts an 8MP camera to take high quality photos (You won't have much need for a separate digital camera anymore). It also has a built-in double LED flash for taking pictures or use as a flashlight. Speaker is clear and loud, making it great for playing your music or watching Netflix, Crackle, Youtube etc. The Google Play Store is easy to use and download from millions of apps and widgets. On the downside of things. The phone can really eat up the battery and on average lasted me only about 10 hours of normal use. You can get an extended battery or you can keep a car or wall charger handy. The phone has a lot of internal memory for apps and photos and can be expanded substantially to accommodate large media collections. All in all, this is a great phone and the things that I list that are negative are easily dealt with and are easy to overlook with all of the other great features. I highly recommend this phone.Read full review...

Great phone for use on Page Plus Cellular! Worth the looking at.

Overall a great phone! But, the signal strength indicator is unreliable. Go into settings and phone to look at signal strength in db.

Love the big clock display!

No problem with charging port. I am careful not to wiggle the connection.

Voice on phone is robotic sounding. Why is a phone like this one has such a terrible voice I can not understand.

Interface works well and easy to use. Had to add a number of apps to set up the phone as I wanted it.

Phone on speaker a little weak.

Works well on Pageplus Cellular.

Incredible 2 Isn't Always That Incredible !!

My husband purchased this phone about 2 years ago as a gift. This is my first smart phone. I am not a techie type person and have a hard time working and recording with a VCR. I wanted a smart phone to be able to accept credit cards (using an app) for my businesses. I found the phone not that user friendly. I have taken classes at my local Verizon store and am not using the phone to its full capacity. If I want to use a feature I haven't used before I usually have to get a more experienced person to either show me or just do it for me. I have had to send it back to the company to replace the phone 2x because different features have stopped working. I do like the voice text feature but that does not always work. I can use the phone to take credit cards but have to remove the case to do it. The camera does take pretty good pictures. I sure like my old Motorola flip phone better but it didn't have the features I needed. I would not recommend this phone to a friend.Read full review...

So far, so good. Sturdy, nice screen and fast boot-up. Software only flaw

Have had the phone for a few weeks. Although HTC and Verizon assured me 4.0.1 (ice cream sandwich) could loaded but that has not happened. Am disappointed because it's running gingerbread. It's harder to learn the system and it lacks some good installed features, such as a task master. Also requires an SD card for photos and some apps. I don't keep my phone on very much, so I love the quick, about 5 second, wake-up after being powered down. Have not seen any devise including my iPad, to equal that. Battery life not great, but that's true with nearly all smart phones. Screen is very nice but does pick up finger prints. The 3G seems fine. For so little money seems it like a good deal. With all the stuff we don't need why can't someone invent a battery that lasts a week?Read full review...

very pleased

The phone is as described and I am pleased. The only problems are of manufacture origin and design. The antenna receptivity is poorand I am sure in later versions of smart phone they have probably resolved the issue. Also the battery life is not very good as is a problem with lots of smart phones. Even so the phone has great capabilities, great camera, strong scratch resistance. I am very pleased to this point. One problem which probably is not a phone issue is the inability of many apps to integrate completely with the function of the phone. Android apps vary and seem to need tweaking in order to get them to completely function at times. Even so this is not a phone issue, but and interaction issue that needs to be resolved by app developers.Read full review...

Does not requiring sharing contacts with Verizon or Google. Low purchase $

The biggest reason that I like the HTC Droid Incredible 2 is that unlike the newest HTC Android Ultra, you are not required to share your contacts with Verizon or Google. I sync with Microsoft Outlook using MyPhone Explorer. I think that Google and Verizon know too much about us and are all too willing to share that information with others. Share my contacts? No thanks. I like my friends.

The down side of the phone is that some of the important parts wear out quickly. These include the USB charging port and power button that can be replaced relatively easily.

Unfortunately, the third part that breaks is the headphone jack, which cannot be replaced as it is integrated into the motherboard. However, you can use an external Bluetooth device to mitigate the headphone jack wearing out.

The great part is that you can buy one of these phones off E-Bay for on the order of $50. I have purchased two and they were both like new.

The phone does everything I want including that it will play music, books, email, etc. and Oh yeah - it actually rings when someone calls you.

For the money, it's a great deal.

Everything works great except the most important feature...reception!

This phone sucks. Before this I had the Droid Incredible 1 for about 2 years and it was a great phone. When my screen shattered I thought this would be a great opportunity to upgrade to the Droid Incredible 2. The screen was bigger than the Incredible 1 and that was a plus for me. Everything about this phone is great except the most important thing...reception. With my Incredible 1 my phone rarely lost signal. With the Incredible 2 the thing rarely has a signal and constantly drops calls or next thing I know I have a voice mail message. I really don't know what else to say. I went online and learned this is a common ongoing issue with this phone. The antenna of the phone is somehow connected to the battery door so when you take it off you have absolutely no signal at all. A lot of people find the signal is stronger without a phone case but I haven't had such luck. Now I'm looking to buy another because this is my business phone and I just can't afford to miss calls or calls dropping in the middle of a call or bad reception to the point the client can't hear the entire conversation. Buyer beware! This phone sucks!Read full review...
