Another Disney/Pixar out of the park home run!

This Disney Pixar feature has been out for quite some time, but it has all expected traits of a great feature. It has lots of humor, a few moral lessons, and is appealing to adults as well as children. As one of the early Pixar/Disney collaborations the animation tech holds up really well, and some of the best motion and color ever for a Disney feature. Funny, poignant and eye opening-and you can't beat it for family entertainment.Read full review...

Pictures has no colors. Almost like black and white.

Shipping was fast. package and DVD was in great shape, except the picture quality. No colors. Almost a black and white move. I ordered this DVD to send overseas to a relative's kids six and three. I am very disappointed. I don't know if I even want to sent it to them. I don't think they will enjoy watching this black and white move.Read full review...

Great movie

I'm a collector and got the 2-disc collection at a flea market but unfortunately the discs were damaged. It was so awesome to have come across this listing that sold exactly what I needed it. The movie and bonus features are just so cute. A great classic for everyone to own. I literally pop this in at least 4 times a year just to watch it. Even the soundtrack is nice. The sequel, Finding Dory, is just as adorable too. Read full review...

Finding Nemo: I found it for kids only

Yes, it is supposed to be a childrens movie but why shouldn't adults enjoy it also? Well I'm an adult and I really wasn't interested with this movie at all. It could be just me but I believe this one is just for kids. The story is basically about this clown fish named Nemo who lost his mother ( I won't spoil it for you ) and is in the care of his father when all of a sudden they get separated. Nemo's father sets out to find his son and along the way makes good friends and partners. Anyway, I didn't find it laugh out loud funny. Although my niece and nephew love this movie to death, I couldn't stay awake. In the end: Buy it for the kids, it'll make their day.Read full review...

Finding Nemo

This is a classic Pixar movie. It has a good storyline and while it is heart touching it also has good comedy and good graphics. I would definitely recommend this movie.

Finding Nemo..Found a great movie!!

This great movie is perfect for everyone of all ages. Kids love it because of the great voices, colors, and overall story. Parents will love this because it deals with real life issues like learning to let go of your child. Knowing when to trust and let your child make adult decisions for him or herself. It also teaches children that they need to listen to their parents because 100% of the time they are looking out for their best interest.
Nemo finds out the hard way, when he disobeys his dad he gets taken out of the ocean and put into a tank in a dentist office.Meanwhile Marlin, Nemo's dad searches the waters high and low for Nemo. You have to know that Marlin has never been anywhere outside of his safe zone so exploring the ocean is an adventure in itself with many obstacles to overcome.Along the way he meets up with Dori a hilarious fish that suffers from short term memory. She and Marlin take on each obstacle together, their adventure includes, fleeing form sharks to meeting turtles, to getting eaten by a whale, and finally to finding Nemo.Take anyone to see this movie you will laugh, cry and be totally captured throughout this whole movie. I have seen this movie a million times. My tree year old son adores this movie, it's a new adventure every time we watch it.This is definately not one you want to rent but one you want to own!

The movie teaches various lessons

Finding Nemo is about an overprotective dad who believes that the world is bad for his son after his wife gets eaten by another fish. At the beginning he was so worry that something would happen to his son, that he actually drove his son into danger. After Nemo gets caught by the fisherman who was looking for fishes for his niece, his dad sets out to find him with the help of friends that he finds along the way. I liked the movie because it was a flashback reminder of how my mom was with us when we were growing up, which is not how I am with my kids. Yes I do protect, I do explain there are dangers in the world, but I do let them try to find some independence even if it is with me right behind them. I would recommend this movie to families, because it really shows how much a family member does care even if you think they don't. It also can be a reminder to people to be nicer to our neighbors and lend a helping hand to those who may need it even if we do not know them to well. Nemo's dad gets help from a fish who has short-term memory and even though at times she did not remember why she was helping him or who he was, she still would not leave his side in making certain that he got to where he needed to go to find his son. I give this movie five stars for comedy, friendship, and loyalty and will watch it over and over. The only thing about it is I would watch the beginning with your littles ones under 10,(which really only lasts about five minutes but I know that many parents may find that a little too harsh and if that is the case with you, you can always fast forward this part because it will not take away from the movie). I think that they may be a little afraid at seeing the mommy get eaten but after that it is fun and laughs. All in all a very great movie that I would recommend over and over.Read full review...
