Do you like Kevin Smith? Well this is his best movie. Buy it now! It’s out of print so it’s like 100 bucks brand new. eBay is the way to go! It’s got Alan Rickman, it’s got Jay and Silent Bob, it’s got Buddy Christ, it’s got Carrie Fisher, it’s got George Carlin, It’s got Alainis Morrissete as God. It even has a poop monster. I grew up catholic, I thought the title was great, hats off to Kevin Smith and the entire cast.

This product was poor in technical quality. The first ten(10) minutes were pixilated and I almost through it away but it did get better. Good movie,poor quality disc.

It's Dogma...

It's Dogma (1999), and it's on Blu ray! Sure, it was a bit over priced but it isn't being reproduced, and there are only so many copied in circulation. Besides, what I saved on other movies allowed me to spend a little more that what I should have on this one.

I was expecting an unopened, original copy, of Dogma. Instead I got a copy of it on a Blu Ray writable disc. Worth having, just not worth the price, and buyer needs to be informed that it’s a copy.

Worth watching more then once

This movie is provocative, compelling, and very, very funny - especially if you are a "recovering Catholic." It requires an attentive audience, as references to various esoteric religious facts are frequent; this however only adds to the enjoyment of the film.

The movie is entertaining throughout, but it is better at the beginning than at the end. By the end, there is a bit too much going on, and there are some loose ends left hanging. Additionally, the tone changes from comic and satirical to almost preachy in a couple of moments for reasons that are not altogether clear.

Nevertheless, this is a very entertaining, and very unique movie.Read full review...
