I really love my iPhone 4S

I really love my iPhone 4S. There's so many features and it really helps me in everyday life, I can use it to reserve spots in restaurants and check movie listings. It's made out of great quality materials and is built extremely well, the only thing I dislike about it is the easily shattered glass back (I have a few friends who have dropped theirs on the gym floor and shattered their iPhones). Now the iPhone 5 has an aluminium back which is supposedly more durable, I look forward to trying it out. The screen quality on the 4S is great, its extremely clear and the colors are amazing! When I take photos, the clarity is just jaw-dropping with the hi definition pictures and video. SIRI is really useful, and now after the iOS 6 has been released, it's even better than before. Overall, the iPhone 4S is a really good phone, and if you want a smartphone that can do a lot of things to make your life easier, the iPhone is the way to go. If you don't have enough money for the iPhone 5, go for the 4S. There isn't really much difference unless you REALLY REALLY want the 4G speeds and the bigger screen. I hope my review helped and I wish you all the best with your iPhone :)Read full review...

unless you have an irrational hatred for Apple, this should be your phone

In regards to the star ratings:
- battery life isnt ideal; it's better than most, but can always be better.
- it's one of the most expensive smartphones on the market before subsidy. enough said.
- it's the easiest to use smartphone available: the printed instructions attest to that by being a fraction the size of competing phones in its class. the feature set is excellent as it can be used in full by the widest range of users while the market leading app store further increases it's capability.
- once design, build quality, and customer service and support are taken into account, it's a 5/5 star phone, able to overcome it's benign issues.

no, it's not the iPhone 5 that the most repugnant of tech "journalists" claimed was inevitably coming based on lies about "sources" and later bashed by the same for not being as such. those who are familiar with Apple and their iPhone line, however, expected what we received based on their previous release history. despite the negative reviews by an ignorant press, this is Apple's best iPhone ever, and the market clearly agrees.

despite the familiar exterior, both in dimensions and materials, the return of this design was warmly welcomed by the masses as a year later, it's still by far the most exclusive feeling smartphone on the market and will be remembered alongside the original iPhone, the Bondi Blue iMac, and the unibody MacBook Pro as one of their most memorable designs. it's truly a magnificent design in it's clean look, top quality materials, and luxurious feel, all assembled in a very tight, dense package that just oozes quality. while the look of it may be comforting in its familiarity, it's actually brand new on the inside.

starting with the processing unit, Apple upgraded to the ARM A9 core and then doubled them with it's A5 SoC processor. they also doubled up the cache to 1MB (512KB per core) to feed it and increased graphics performance by 5 times with the PowerVR 543 GPU. finally, they clocked this SoC processor to 1GHz and 512MB of RAM on a 200MHz bus to give you a phone with more graphics and computing power than a first generation Xbox. despite all of this computing power, it hardly uses any actual power: battery capacity went up only 2.5% while claimed runtimes were extended by hours, all thanks to an extremely efficient design of the SoC.

to ensure you never leave home without your point and shoot digital camera, the sensor has been upgraded to 8mp. people who know better know that megapixels arent everything, so they continued use of a backside illuminated sensor to ensure the most light possible for excellent low light imagery, well beyond that of the competition. the aperture has been stepped up to f2.4 over the iPhone 4's f2.8 stop, and feeding that much larger hole is an all-new lens package with IR and UV filters to produce more natural colors. with the faster CPU, the result is faster loading, shorter times between shots, and images that dont look like they came from a phone. to top it off, they upgraded the video recording to full 1080p.

and if you have no one to talk to, now you have Siri. it's API hooks reach deep into the system, allowing the user to manage their phone simply by one of the best voice recognition systems available. of course that makes the keyboard redundant with it's dictation accuracy.

despite more evolution than revolution, this evolutionary step is akin to going from neanderthal to homo sapien, with the Galaxy Nexus looking like a missing link.

First Smart Phone

It's a used and fairly old phone, so I'm not truly surprised at the 1 day max battery life, and I'm not using it for more than about 2 hours a day... I expect I'll be buying and swapping in a new battery at some point here in the future. Lots of storage on this model at 64 Gb, so I don't really expect to have to delete anything to make room. I love the Wi-Fi capability, and emojis!Read full review...

iPhone, the phone that over Hype and over Price

Don’t waste your phone money of the iPhone if you don’t have to. This phone is over hype, I don’t see anything big about the iPhone. I’ve seen cheaper phone that offer better features than the iPhone. Phone call log sucks it only show all calls and miss calls; you can’t select any other type of calls like business only, friends, and what not. Sadly to download apps you are force to become a member. Only good thing is the 4S Siri. Siri come in handy a lot. When watching video, the video does NOT fit into the screen, it’s too small when you zoom in it cuts out half the video base on the video format. My co-work samsung galaxy s3 is better when watching video. iPhone picture quality sucks, my basic Motorola Rizr Z3 takes great better picture than the iPhone. Also you can’t change the camera/video mode, like set it for night shot or day shots, indoor shots. you have to download other camera apps for this. In my opinion is it worth $400 use? Hell No, $200 to $250 yes, $300tops yes, your just buying the name for an extra $100 to $200. Other than that, it’s the apps that make the phone better and does the same thing other smartphone does. It has a great design.Read full review...

This one makes #4 currently in use for my family! Top Pick! Recommended!

I purchased this iPhone due to the wonderful experiences with three other identical phones for other family members. This iPhone 4s does everything we needed that is available on the new iPhone 5s, and runs the same operating system. Siri allows for voice commands, and types text and emails faster than thumbs can fly! I would highly recommend this unit. The 64gb memory allows for the largest number of songs and texts to remain readily available. Android phones are fine, but sometimes it really is worth going with the original!Read full review...

Amazing! With data connection speeds avg 10mbps in my area :)

I had an iPhone 4 prior to purchasing the 4S and what a great upgrade. I mainly use my iPhone for the smartphone side of things (internet, email, and of course apps). It definitely runs much faster than the 4 and with better connection to cell towers and my Wi-Fi at home. Speaker phone and hearing the caller has improved some as well. Great phone, I am totally an Apple iPhone guy all the way.Read full review...

Make my life more easy.

The Apple iPhone 4S in my opinion,is easy to use and also can take place of a hand held computer. Its fast when it comes to uploading and activating my apps, like facebook, or twitter. So that ends up making it really convenient for me. It easy for my own music entertainment since I'm able to download music from itunes. Overall, I really enjoy the convenience and the features of the iPhone.Read full review...

Great phone with only a few minor problems

The phone has been very useful, and i cannot explain how great its been to get rid of my android! The battery life isn't so good though. It will last for most of the day if I'm not using it but once it gets down to 20% battery life then the phone shuts off. Overall great product for a fair price.Read full review...

Excellent product.Great value paid , sharp colored icons and easy handling.

The iphone 4S for me is excellent to handle ,it fit well to my palm and keep easily to inside men pockets. While iphone 5 and iphone 6 are slightly larger to handle ,they are bulky and fit well to women in handbags.
While most of the iphones are fragile, iphone 4s can break easily its body glass when dropped to a concrete or hard solid surface.I found hard plastic and rubber guard protective case very sturdy, this prevent the iphone from jarring and breaking.
While most of the iphones have the same function, iphone 4s overall competitive well of its easy compared to iphone 5s and 6's because of easy handling and have lots of memory too.

Better buy a Samsung Galaxy S2 or wait for the Iphone 5 ........ trust me

Other than the camera performance this phone is not anything worth mentioning! Maybe because i own also the Samsung Galaxy S2 (business phone) and compared to the Galaxy s2 the iphone 4s is a step back... slower in every task compared to the super fast dual core of the galaxy s2, smaller not so bright not so vibrant screen compared to the super amoled plus screen of the galaxy s2. Older bluetooth and not able to connect to dual band routers which the galaxy s2 CAN!!! And dont forget the i phone is not yet 4G capable....Read full review...
