Good but not good enough

Using the iphone is different from any other phone I have used. It took about a day to get used to all its funny ways. To do some things you have to be connected to itunes which I hate as all it tries to do is sell you apps. The phone does do everything it says on the tin. It is fast to operate and has a very clear signal when using the telephone. Connections to bluetooth and WiFi devices is probably the fastest of any smart phone I have owned. It never drops connections which is excellent. There are downsides. The battery life is awful I just get a day out of a fully charged phone. My last smartphone a Nokia E72 lasted 5 days with the same usage. Some of the applications cannot be modified in the way I would expect from a smartphone. APPLE have restricted control of lots of the applications and as a result makes the phone for me a less satisfactory purchase. Great product, get one!

Bought this product as i was firstly in need of a new phone but had recently lost my ipod. Buying the iphone took care of both of these problems, the 32gb version is more than enough and i have not even got close to filling it yet.

As a phone it works great, very easy texting and making and receiving calls. The camera is very useful and easy to use, the picture quality is not great however.

Being able to use the internet is also a massive bonus of this phone, very clear webpages and easy to navigate around them, very useful being able to get live updates to your emails o the go.

The biggest downfall of the phone so far is the battery life, I have found it can go from 100% to 0 during a days use, this is fine if you are around home and work a lot and can charge it with ease but can become a problem on long trips/overnight stays etc.

On the whole i love it, wonder how i lived with out it before hand!Read full review...

awesome phone

iPhone is a great phone , easy to use and once you start with it ............ i dont think you will use any other brand again . i had a same one but droped it and was broken badly so i only had one choice to get a same again . only problem is battery life . really short for those who use it all day long . but again ...its not a phone its an iPhoneRead full review...

Love this phone, so glad I took the plunge and got a smart phone!

I brought this phone to try out, I also thought I would never have a smart phone (they are always smarter then me), my contract wasn't up for another 6 months and this would give me a chance to get to know the phone before I made my choice of upgrade. Well since getting it I have become an app nerd (have an app for everything!!). I am a keen reader so have downloaded a lot of books, who needs a kindle! I am having a lot of fun with this phone and with the larger memory reacts a lot quicker and can store a lot of stuff on it.Read full review...

one of the best buys I have made on Ebay since joining

I purchased this phone just before Christmas and have found it an exceptional tool I was never an Apps user but sinse obtaining the iPhone I now have 1.5 screens of added Apps all very useful tools. I am still learning how to use the phone correctly and have downloaded the users manual which did not come with the phone, overall I am very happy with the usability of the phone and the camera.Read full review...

Best iPhone

This is the best iPhone that has been produced,sadly it is a phone that has very little use now, if you just want to make calls and text messages it’s fine, however Apple do not support this phone anymore, which means you can not get any apps installed, and it’s very difficult to install music on the phone, because you can not connect to the iTunes Store. Excellent but to keep it unlocked don't update it.

Excellent phone, very pleased. Just a comment for anyone buying an unlocked iphone. It will only remain unlocked if you don't update the operating system or restore it. As soon as you update (or restore) to the latest os it will become locked to the operator of the sim card you are using. I found out to my cost!

It is better to store more things.

In 3 years i personally took 3 apple iphone on contract. Last time i bought this unlocked 32 GB for my son who load lot of game and buy from apple store some games. He also download music at the phone, therefore 32gb have more space to keep games and music. And specially he is in touch with apple store for intrested game. I personally don't like 3gs shape. The second reason purchase is that by me two apple iphone were damaged.Read full review...

New iPhone

I have had a number of identicle iPhones from eBay which were all reconditioned, this iPhone was by far the best being new and unused, becoming harder and harder to find an authentic iPhone.
