Iphone 2g (AKA 1g or classic) Hardware

The hardware

Industrial design
We're just going to come out and say it: the iPhone has the most beautiful industrial design of any cellphone we've ever seen. Yes, it's a matter of taste, and while we imagine some won't agree, we find it hard to resist the handset's thoughtful minimalism and attention to detail.
The display

The iPhone features the most attractive display we've ever seen on a portable device of this size, by far and bar none. While its 160ppi resolution isn't quite photorealistic, the extremely bright 3.5-inch display does run at 480 x 320, making it one of the highest pixel-density devices around today (save the Toshiba G900's mind-popping 3-inch 800 x 480 display). The screen also provides an excellent outdoor viewing experience. With optical properties reminiscent of transflective displays, the iPhone remains completely readable (if a only bit washed out) even in direct sunlight. Unfortunately, the display's viewing angle left a little something to be desired.

Great Phone

I use to have a qtek phone a couple of months ago and it was a greta phone with alll the features I needed but I broke it and could not fix it. Latter I bougth a BB but it was not what I was looking for, you do not have the freedom to install all the aplications that I use to have in my old phone and you allways need the Internet service.

I started to look for other phone and I found this iphone, the price was great for a test drive and it resulted a succes.

I unlocked it and can install all the aplications that I need, I discovered a lot of free aplications even in the iTunes store very usefull.

This special model use to have a lot of isues but I loaded the last version of it´s OS and runs great, never miss a call, Sync it with my PC with 0 problems and have good battery life.

Other feature that I like is that you can surf the web very simmilar than in a PC because of it´s screen size and resolution, something imposible for a BB with smaller screen.

Something that I like most is that it´s WIFI capable with no conecction issues, I use to try to use that feature in a BB but to many security issues and smaller screen made it almost imposible because it is made for 3G and I do not have a 3G service plan.

I use this phone with no Internet service plan and I really do not need it every time I am in a Wifi spot it download all my mails and I allways on line with it without paying for it, I just have to look for a free wifi spot.

A issue that I do not like is that the battery is sealed inside and you can not change it easily like in any other regular phone, but mine runs great.

I like about this model that is metal made and it feels very solid in your hands something that is not posible with new plastic models.

I will buy it again and I totaly recomend it to my friends.

my wife is a BB lover but now her mind is more about changing her BB for my iPhone.

Great Phone for a regular costumer. It is making me to think about buying some other Apple products like a laptop or tablet as i allready have 2 iPods.

If you buy it unlock it and install the latest software so it wont have any issue reklated to that cause that was the problem with the first generation, just the software.

BUY IT...

Iphone 2g 1st Generation 8 g cellphone

I recently received this phone. And I must say that it is a remarkable iphone. I am very impressed with how it responds to touch easily. And that you can download basically numerous category of apps for free. I brought a 2G, 1st Generation Iphone 8G and the functionality of this phone is extraordinary. I have own many types of phones before but this one is by far the best. The reception of videos is crystal clear, not to mentioned the high quality of the pictures. I am still learning about the many features of this phone. And I have not downloaded any music yet, but I'm sure it is as simply as downloading applications to this phone. This is a must have. I decided to buy this phone because I wanted the real iphone and not a generic imitation iphone.Read full review...

i phone

used i phone and broken screen , i deiced to buy it because was very cheap.
p for sale is an Iphone 3Gs 32gb in great condition. It includes original box, charger, earphones, manual, eject pin...i will also throw in a hardcase. phone is jailbroken and is on the 4.0.1 firmware which means that it can be unlocked and its a MB.
If you want to activate a used iPhone, you have a few options. The first option is the easiest: take it to an AT&T Wireless store and set up a new account. A second option is to jailbreak the iPhone and use it as an iPod touch without phone service. A third option is to jailbreak and unlock the iPhone for use on another carrier like T-Mobile.

Unlocked IPhone

Finally, I have an Iphone for my Tmobile account. This is what I have always wanted. All of the apps are great. There are so many different apps and the picture on the phone is beautiful. Just wish that I could figure out how to download and assign ringtones and how to display MY photos from my Sim card. It is a little hard to figure the phone out.Read full review...

iPhone 1st Gen

The iPhone (pronounced /ˈaɪfoʊn/ EYE-fohn) is a line of Internet and multimedia-enabled smartphones designed and marketed by Apple Inc. The first iPhone was introduced on January 9, 2007.[1]
An iPhone can function as a video camera, camera phone with text messaging and visual voicemail, a portable media player, and an Internet client with e-mail, web browsing, and both Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity. The user interface is built around the device's multi-touch screen, including a virtual keyboard rather than a physical one. Third-party as well as Apple applications are available from the App Store, which launched in mid-2008 and now has well over 300,000[2] "apps" approved by Apple. These apps have diverse functionalities, including games, reference, GPS navigation, social networking, security and advertising for television shows, films, and celebrities.Read full review...

Outstanding phone! Easy interface and intuitive apps!

Purchased this from eBay and have been enjoying it a lot for a few days now. Highly recommended. Love the touch screen, and responsiveness. The integration of email, facebook, internet browsing, text messages, and phone is everything you really need.Read full review...

It's an older model and it's still a great phone

The touch screen is such a great feature on this phone better than my android phone (Sanyo Zio). That's not all if you like to hear music like I do well theirs no better phone. See I use an iPod nano bet now I'll be able to just use my iPhone which I connect to my stereo iPod input connection. Believe me if you like sound systems in your automobile this iPhone is helping with the music.Read full review...
