speaker review

i got these speakes at a great price. they can hold alot of power. i started with a set of surround/sattelite speakers but they kept blowing out on my 500 watt sony reciever so i thot i would get these instead. they are pretty loud. i can turn my reciever all the way up and not halfto worry about blowing them. the maximum volume on my reciever is 30, i can turn it to about 28 for most songs, before i can start to hear any distortion wich is pretty impressive as i havent been able to get past 24 with any other speakers ive tried. i also halfto turn my subwoofer power down when i turn it up that loud just to make sure IT dosent blow. i have mine on a set of endtables to elevate them a bit cuz the stands that go in the bottom of them to hold them up are kindof expensive if you ask me. but if you have a big entertainment stand you could just put them right on top, however i have a 50 inch flatscreen wich leaves me nowhere to put them other than the endtables. they are however a bit hollow sounding as they are PA/DJ speakers but i expected that. they are loud but if you are looking to use them to listen to music on in your home, the audio quality is not going to be as good as a set of home stereo speakers. they dont sound bad, just a little hollow like i sed. but i use them to listen to music with everyday and it dosent bother me, i like how loud they are. there ya go thats my reviewRead full review...
