eBay Listing: 1961 Jaguar XK150 Drophead Coupe
The end of an era for the XK series was the XK150, which was introduced in May 1957 as a 1958 model. Although recognizably a member of the Jaguar family, it was wider and not nearly as curvy as the earlier XKs, and the distinctive grill was delicately more subtle in appearance than its predecessor. 1961 was towards the end of the XK150s lifespan, so it was more or less a factory hot rod compared to the earlier years; it had a bored out, twin-cam, 3.8-liter straight-six good for 220 horsepower and disc brakes that were developed for this car. This particularly fine example has been so thoroughly restored, it’s ready for Pebble Beach.
