working well
3 of 3 found this helpful I replaced my own cleaning deck in my 540 (silver outside with green cleaning deck) with this one after the gear box cover melted and then melted the replacement. This seems to be an authentic replacement and is working great so far on my long cat fur, but i would not say better then the other one or that the brushes stay cleaner longer like some have said. However, I hear this new grey deck eliminated the melting gear box cover issue so that it the main issue. I took my roomba apart making adjustments and trying to get it working dozens of times. After replacing with this and getting a new battery it is awesome! This is the best price I've seen for this part and very much worth it to figure out your own repairs and replace what is needed.
