Not even close to useable for cellphone. Now in my pile of junk used just for testing bluetooth connections.
I didn't expect much for $7, but I have to comment that this is much worse than other good ratings would suggest. It may be a defective one, but two things lead me to believe that this is not just a one-off quality problem. 1) There's very little springiness to the neck band, so it hangs loose, barely touching my head on both sides, so there's no "conduction" to speak of; 2) Even when I press both sides onto my head, the only sound I hear is weak and tinny, i.e. it's just high frequency, absolutely no bass, on both sides.
Even $5, wired headphones sound better than this. I have a big head, so I know the looseness is a design flaw. And the bluetooth on my phone works fine with other devices, including the phone's equalizer with the bass turned all the way up.
