Perfect 'universal' retrofit!
I like this because I couldn't find the brand name of my stove. I looked for an equivalent heater coil and found this 'universal' one that fit the bill. I'll never know whether it worked as well as the original because the element was broken when I bought the house which was around the oven. Whatever, it's cooking!

Bright, cheap and cheerful
I'm always looking for cheap things that work the way I want them to. This one did, and it was cheap, so what more can I ask?

String it up
Should be good strings, but seemed to stretch endlessly and go out of tune rapidly, Maybe this is normal for good strings? Not enough experience, but they seem to have settled down now...
