This product matched the stock takeout and worked flawlessly. As described.
This item was the same as my broken stalk. Once I researched the replacement procedure, it was a snap and I have working wipers again.

This tachometer allows you to dial in your Briggs & Stratton engine speed to spec.
2 of 2 found this helpful I learned about these Briggs tachometers on the Gilson Snowblower Facebook group. They have a spring steel that you must pull all the wayout to a stop so it can vibrate; after starting the motor you put the tach on top of the shield or metal shroud. The energy produced by the crankshaft will rotate the spring towards higher numbers on the RPM scale. From there, based on your Engine Type and model number (available from many websites) you can know what your idle RPM should be set to, and adjust the idle air screw accordingly.
This tachometer worked as described, and confirmed I had set the proper speed for a Toro lawnmower after a carb rebuild. My Gilson snow blower is in the middle of an engine replacement project (I found a replacement engine on Ebay too!) and I will use this again after I rebuild another carburetor.

Real GM OEM part, very convenient to be able to order a single clip.
This is an exact replacement for the steering wheel locking clip I lost when replacing a key lock cylinder on a '91 GMC V2500 Suburban. Be careful when you remove the steering wheel clip (this item) when preparing to pull the steering wheel, as it's needed to prevent the wheel from rocking loose over time by providing a tight fit against the steering wheel shaft nut.
I was prying it off with a screwdriver, and it flew off and vanished in the cab. An extensive search failed to find it (I should have held on to it with needle nose pliers or a locking hemostat). I was bummed, but a Google search turned up an OEM package of 25 pieces that was more than a lifetime supply for me. Being able to buy a single item was the perfect way to fix my mistake.
