If all you need is a VCR to transfer to few tapes to digital media, it'll get the job done.
3 of 4 found this helpful It worked good enough for the intended purpose. It is a VERY low end machine. I was shocked to find that it is monaural, NOT stereo!!! Yet, it has the VCR+ recording feature. Go figure... When zipping to find what you are looking for, it does not show you where you are in terms of video image the way every other VCR I've ever owned did. It also has no counter or time display.
If you've got several tapes to convert, or even want to just watch a bunch of old tapes you have, I'd recommend going with a higher end model. It did what I needed to do, so that's OK.
