Make it GPS specific or note that it won't work on certain GPS's. Or include a spacer with adhisive to stick it the hole (size of a 1/2 dollar).

My Garmin 2689 does not have a flat back. It has a built in mounting hole about the size of a 1/2 Dollar. No way to connect the mount to the GPS. The parts supplied with the mount are not wide/long enough to allow attachment. Other mounts state exactly what GPS they fit but I wasn't aware enough when I ordered to determine that this one wouldn't work. (Not their fault so I went back and found a plastic disc at their store to cover the mounting bracket hole and I'll make this thing work if it kills me.)
