Good fit and strong
I make a lot of jam so have used several different brands of jam pot covers over the years. For the money these suit me best. I have had several lots now from different sellers, whoever is cheapest. There are sufficient wax discs (some packets came short in the past), you can tell which is the waxed side by feel (which you can`t do with everyone`s), the film circles are big enough and are easily separated, and the elastic bands are strong enough and keep their elasticity for a year. In fact, if you are careful when removing them, you can re-use the film circles by re-wetting them. There is a tendency for these film circles to curl up quite quickly when you take them out of the packet which is a nuisance but that might be my damp kitchen, and it can be solved by putting a teaspoon or something on the pile.
Not the best (got to Lakeland) but quite adequate for my use, everyday cooking, nothing fancy.
