This movie got a bad rap from critics, but made money because it is entertaining and unique
I always liked this movie as a kid, and was happy to see it held up as an adult. Some of the best scenery ever filmed, as well as Bo Dereck's scenery of the anatomical variety. The animals play a big role in the film, but some of the slow motion sequences needed to be shortened. This is one of my ten most underrated films, (all of which did great at the box office but got brutalized by critics, though even Roger Ebert half heartedly defended it, which I was surprised by,
