Standard Lithium Battery

Olympus D540 3.2 Megapixel Camera
1 of 1 found this helpful I needed a camera with better definition than my 1.3 megapixel Olympus camera so I looked for another Olympus. An added consideration was a better telephoto system, the D540 filled both these requirements. The camera has a multitude of other features that are extreemly handy and is a joy to use. The fact that it uses two standard AA bateries or a rechargable pack makes it economical to use.
I was able to get an excellent deal on eBay on a camera without the manual or data cable. Both these items are readily available on eBay at excellent prices also.
I would not heasitate to recomment this camera to anyone that wants a handy point and shoot camera with many additional features.
