|Calculated Shipping Costs|
The calculated shipping cost is based on the seller's and buyer's locations, the weight and dimensions of the package, and the type of shipping services you offer.If you use calculated shipping, a table of shipping costs will be inserted into your listing. Shipping costs will also be calculated when your buyer pays. Here's how it works:
Step 1: Enter shipping information when you list your item, such as package type, weight, dimensions, and shipping service. Be as specific as possible to ensure accurate shipping costs.
Step 2: Buyer sees calculated shipping costs on your listing.
Step 3: Buyer pays for your item and the costs are calculated automatically based on the shipping address and the package information you provided when you listed your item.

Step 1: Enter shipping information
Enter your shipping information in the Sell Your Item form.
Step 2: Buyer sees calculated costsWhen you use calculated shipping costs, a table of shipping costs will appear in the shipping section of your listing. The listing will automatically determine the shipping cost based on the buyer's ZIP Code and the information you specified for the listing. Only the shipping service you selected will be shown. Any handling costs will be included in the shipping costs – they will not be shown to buyers.
Step 3: Buyer paysWhen the buyer pays, costs will be calculated automatically based on the shipping address. The costs are calculated during the payment process for all your payment methods. The buyer can select from the list of shipping services you offered.
