Great Christian book describing how to find God.
1 of 1 found this helpful I love this book for the simple and precise way it describes how to have union with God in Christian terms. I have studied most religion's paths to God and I love them all. This is right up there with the best of them. It is great at cutting out the false teachings of religion, dogma and ritual for the real path to God which is all about inner peace through understanding and love. I would love to thank Guyon personally. The only book that I would say is better than this one for the Christian who seeks union with God, is "The Book of the Perfect Life" translated by David Blamires. It is a deeper and more advanced read for the Christian who is ready to cut even more deeply through the false of our lives and beliefs into the truth of the spiritual life. If you like these you will probably like Johannes Tauler's "Sermons".

Very enjoyable, action, heart and humor!
2 of 2 found this helpful There were so many bad reviews I almost didn't even watch it but I love sci-fi and Chris Pratt is cool so I gave it a shot. I've seen it 3 times in two weeks and I usually only watch movies once. It is a very good looking movie, great characters, I really like everything about it. There are 1 or two small details that didn't make perfect sense imo but I couldn't care less. This is a fun movie that I'm glad I did not miss just because people like to feel better about themselves by putting something down.

This book brings Jesus to life, finally.
This book makes reading the Gospels a wonderfully moving experience since it is so easy to read. I really had a hard time putting it down. That it shows which verses it is using from which Gospel on each page makes it great for going back to the Bible to compare. What a delight for lovers of Jesus whether they are Christian or not.
