The relationship between Nike and Travis Scott started in 2017 and has flourished over the years with multiple iterations. Travis Scott has partnered with Air Jordan 1 to give it a new look and repurpose it for the current generation. Every shoe from the partnership of Nike and Travis Scott has resulted in a huge amount of hype. Since Air Jordan 1 is one of the most iconic sneakers, the hype when Scott partnered with the team was bigger than ever. This hype made the sneaker one of the most coveted releases for sneakerheads and sneaker collectors.

Construction Details of the Sneaker

Nike gave this sneaker a premium treatment with high-quality leather and suede. Besides the top-notch materials, Nike incorporated new design elements. Most are synonymous with Travis Scott's brand: the Cactus Jack. Its upper is covered in brown nubuck that changes as you softly brush your fingers over it. The tumbled white leather holds the shoe together with sturdiness for performance or casual wear.

Inside the shoe's body is the brown nubuck and white tumbled leather. The Nike Swoosh inside the shoe is unique. If you check closely, you will notice a Cactus Jack logo printed subtly behind the Swoosh. On the heel, the shoe features the Cactus Jack face. The tongue has a standard Nike Air logo with red text and a black Cactus Jack logo with red text stitched on the side of the tongue.

Features of the Air Jordan 1 Travis Scott Sneaker

This collaborative release from May of 2019 is set apart from the rest on the market by its additional aesthetics. For instance, the Travis Scott Air Jordan 1 has an oversized reverse Nike Swoosh on the side panels. This Swoosh is in black tumbled leather. The shoe comes in a brown standard Nike Air Jordan 1 box with Nike's logo in red. This package includes light pink colored tissue paper in the box and four logos on the paper. The logos are printed in black and include the words Cactus Jack, Air Jordan, and Nike Air. Cactus Jack's face is also printed on the paper.

This sneaker has four sets of laces on top of the pre-laced black laces. The extra laces are in red, brown, white, and pink to allow you to mix them up to your taste and preference. This shoe features the original Air Jordan 1 outsole with the Nike Air logo and a similar pattern. Its midsole is in creamy white to add a classic touch to the newer release.

A couple of special traits of the Air Jordan 1 Travis Scott are the ankle support and the little hidden pouch at the heel tab area, and the pocket is connected by fabric fastener tape. You can also put small items in the pouch. The standard white insole in the left shoe comes with a Nike Air logo printed in red. In the right shoe, the insole has a Cactus Jack logo print.
