Information About the Sneakers

Nike released the Air Jordan 12 Royalty in November 2021. Air Jordan 12s with their Black-and-Yellow arch and outsole are called the "Taxi" colorways because they remind people of New York City taxis. This sneaker now has Gold eyelets, embroidery, and tongue accents.

The inspiration for the design came in part from Japan's Rising Sun, or "Nisshoki," flag. In addition, they were inspired by a woman's dress boot from the 19th century. Additional inspiration came partly from Michael Jordan's basketball clinic held in Japan in the summer of 1996. A stitched leather pattern radiates outward, and this theme continues on the shoe's arch.

The Nike Swoosh logo no longer appears on the sneaker. It was inside the shoe on previous designs, but the shoes still came in a Nike box.

Jordan 12 royaltyLike the Air Jordan 2 (II), the arch has two large rands and embossed lizard skin. Even though their soles are heavy, the Royalty 12s are strong and durable, which makes them good basketball shoes.

These sneakers have all the same features as the original Air Jordans while adding some additional ones. Unlike the previous Air Jordan 12s, available in various colorways, the Air Jordan Royalty 12 only comes in the Taxi design.

Aside from being stylish, this is one of the best-performing models Jordan has produced. It provides all the necessary features to do well on the court. They have good traction and materials, responsive cushioning, enough support, and a nice fit. Compared to its more modern counterparts, the Jordan 12 Royalty is well-rounded and can outperform them.

The sole and mudguards are made of Black suede, and the Jumpman plate above the midsole is in Gold. On the White leather tongue, there is a Jumpman and "Two 3" detailing, which was first seen on the original "Taxi" shoe from November 1996.
